Rock Fish Stew, a Durham-based documentary production company, seeks two self-starting interns for Spring 2016 who can contribute 12-hours per week from the end of January through early May.
Interns will help support our current documentary project on the Big Ears music festival in Knoxville, TN. Big Ears, called last week by The Guardian of London “surely America’s (the world’s?) most thrillingly diverse festival,” (www.bigearsfestival.com). This is a great opportunity for those who love music and have an interest in documentary film.
In addition to the weekly hours, we are looking for candidates who can come with us to Knoxville for the shoot from March 28-April 2.
Tasks will include researching musicians, culling through footage, transcribing interviews, office support, production support, social media, grant writing, and fundraising.
An interest in literature, film, and/or other creative endeavors is a plus. Video, photography, film editing, web design, creative research and writing skills appreciated.
Please send a CV and cover letter to Tori at tori@rockfishstew.org.
